Childhood and Youth Program
The Childhood and Youth Program at The Key to Life Association aims to provide a safe educational and health environment for children, contributing to the development of their intellectual, social, and physical skills. The program focuses on supporting children in the nursery and youth stages through educational, recreational, and awareness activities that help build their character and enhance their abilities from an early age.
Program Goals:
Provide a safe and stimulating educational environment that contributes to developing children’s skills.
Enhance moral and social values in children from an early age.
Provide healthcare and proper nutrition to ensure healthy and balanced growth.
Support mothers and families by raising awareness on modern parenting techniques.
Encourage innovation and creativity through interactive activities and life skills.
Program Components:
Nursery and Child Care (2-6 years old):
Provide an integrated educational curriculum to develop language, motor, and cognitive skills.
Offer interactive activities such as drawing, music, educational games, and sports.
Provide healthcare and regular monitoring of children’s health and nutritional status.
Ensure a safe environment by monitoring children and applying safety standards.
Youth Care (7-12 years old):
Support education through tutoring and literacy programs for academically delayed children.
Develop life and social skills through cultural and community activities.
Promote positive values and behaviors through moral and religious education.
Organize recreational trips and sports programs to enhance physical fitness and social bonding
Nursery
“The number of children in Al-Maris and Armant El-Hayt nurseries: 250 children. The academic year starts from September 1st to May 30th.
Target group: From 2 and a half years to 6 years old.
Number of classes for each nursery: 3, divided between the Pre-K stage (3 to 4 years), KG1 (4 to 5 years), and KG2 (5 to 6 years). Each stage has its own supervisor, along with 2 caretakers (nannies) and a dedicated vehicle for the nursery, rented at the beginning of the year with a supervisor for the vehicle.
The curriculum: The nursery uses a specialized curriculum for academic education and a curriculum for teaching behavior and interactions with the surrounding environment. The curriculum includes (Arabic, Mathematics, English Language).
Throughout the year, many activities and games are conducted, along with celebrations for various occasions such as:
October War Victories
Children’s Day
Police Day
Prophet’s Birthday
New Year’s Day (Gregorian and Hijri)
Mother’s Day
Spring Festivals
Additionally, the children’s birthdays are celebrated every month in the presence of their parents.
The nurseries also organize recreational activities outside the buildings, including trips to Luxor or visits to other branches, and host various events where children perform beautiful presentations with the help of the class supervisors.
The nursery program concludes with a large year-end celebration to honor the graduation of a new batch of children from The Key to Life nurseries
