Project ‘2 Kifaya’ is a response to the challenges of population growth in Egypt, which negatively impacts development efforts and burdens the state in providing basic services. The project focuses on beneficiaries of the ‘Takaful’ program, aiming to enhance awareness, family planning, and reduce unplanned frequent pregnancies, especially in rural and poor areas.
Project Goals:
Reduce population growth through awareness of the dangers of frequent and unplanned pregnancies.
Promote the concept of small families (a maximum of two children) in targeted areas.
Empower women to make informed decisions regarding family planning and reproductive health.
Support reproductive health services by linking awareness with the provision of accessible services.
Donor: Ministry of Social Solidarity
Target Group: Beneficiaries of the Takaful and Karama program.
